I photograph out of the same necessity that dictates writing,
and I write out of the same need that drives me to photograph.
I understand photography as an act of interpretation and exploration.
I am drawn to what does not demand attention, yet carries weight.
The equipment I use is intentionally simple. Pushing it to its limits matters more than complexity.
Purpose takes precedence over means.
I embrace imperfection not only as an aesthetic choice, but as a philosophical stance.
Grain, noise, blur, the visual language of fragmented memory.
Technical imperfection becomes emotional honesty.
I deliberately date my work.
Moments pass even as they occur.
I photograph the reflection of a thought or a feeling, knowing it may not be understood or accepted. The viewer is free to bring their own meaning, their own memory, their own silence, their own interpretation.
I offer fragments. How they are assembled is not mine to control.
